Group Class Program

Classes to enhance your Day

 

We offer several exciting and rewarding group fitness classes at the Movement Center, including PILATES, GYROKINESIS® and GYROTONIC® exercise classes several times per week. Typically all of our classes are limited from 5 to 10 people so reservations are highly recommended as slots fill fast. Please use the BOOK button to reserve your spot! Also please note: If the list of classes is empty for a certain week, please click on the “Full Calendar” button and choose day/week you are interested in.

GYROTONIC® Group Classes

GYROTONIC® Group Classes are offered from BEGINNER to INTERMEDIATE levels. Take advantage of a group setting and our well equipped studio to experience the benefits of this amazing discipline in a fun, cost-effective manner. Classes can have between 4-6 people and are one hour long. We have Pulley Tower and All Equipment Classes, where students can train with a certified trainer on specialized equipment. We offer advanced GYROTONIC® training on request with private sessions or duets. To take a GYROTONIC® Group Class, you must first have some basic experience training with the GYROTONIC methodology.

PREREQUISITE: We offer a Studio Introductory Package to get you started!

PILATES Group Classes

Connect your mind and body, build lean muscle, and challenge your balance and flexibility with a contemporary PILATES workout. This class is for clients who have at least some basic experience on the reformer in a group setting and want to optimize form, precision and control. Clients will build core strength and tone all the large and small muscle groups to achieve a long, lean physique while enabling efficient movement. Each class is a full-body workout, taught with a layered approach so that clients can work and advance at their own pace. Appropriate for all fitness levels and for prenatal clients. Modifications will be given for clients with physical limitations.

PREREQUISITE: We offer a Studio Introductory Package to get you started!

 

GYROKINESIS® Group Classes

GYROKINESIS® classes can be adapted to fit anyone's ability. People from all walks of life including accomplished athletes, fitness enthusiasts, senior citizens, and people recovering from an injury or dealing with a disability take GYROKINESIS® classes. By the end of a GYROKINESIS® session, one's entire system is awakened and brought into greater balance. Focus on the breath stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system resulting in a sense of calm, wellbeing and mental clarity.

PREREQUISITE: No previous experience is necessary to attend!

 

FLOOR Group Classes

Luxury meets wellness in our exclusive Group Floor Classes. Designed for those who seek refinement in their fitness journey, our classes offer a harmonious blend of strength, flexibility, and mindfulness exercises, all conducted in our state-of-the-art studio. Under the guidance of our elite instructors, you'll indulge in a transformative workout experience that not only tones and sculpts your body but also rejuvenates your mind. Each session is a journey through curated movements, set to the rhythm of soothing, ambient music in a serene and sophisticated environment. Whether you're a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just beginning, our classes are tailored to provide a personalized, upscale fitness experience. Elevate your wellness routine with us and redefine what it means to be fit.

Please wear comfortable exercise clothing - yoga type clothes work well. We highly encourage participants to workout barefoot or with socks.

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) or no shows will be charged full fee. Reservations for classes should be made 24 hours prior to class as there is a maximum of 8 participants in each class, depending on the class you want to take.

Drop-ins will be accepted as long as the maximum number of participants have not been exceeded at the time the class begins.
