GYROTONIC® Applications for Dancers
Improve technique and develop deeper expression

This class is designed for both the accomplished dancer and the enthusiast. The principle is to train the entire body musculature while mobilizing and articulating the joints in all planes of motion. Breathing patterns are practiced to deepen mind-body connections. The system allows muscle to stretch and strengthens simultaneously with minimal effort allowing the dancer to increase range of motion and develop better coordination and fluidity. It is an amazing transformational experience that will take your dance to the next level!

In order to improve an athlete’s game, GYROTONIC® training both stretches and strengthens the muscles, enabling the proper placement of hips, shoulders, forearms and legs depending on the particular sport which is being targeted. Using these critical areas of your body correctly will help to improve the spiraling rotation of the spine, ensuring a more consistent and effective game play, and ultimately preventing injury.

Please wear comfortable exercise clothing - yoga type clothes work well. We highly encourage participants to workout barefoot or with socks.
Since equipment and trainers must be reserved for specialized sessions, we require a 24-hour notice for cancellations.
